Soldered stained-glass windows are products that can withstand use for thousands of years. The reasons for repairing stained-glass windows are most often associated with damage to glass parts, which can fall out, break from an impact on the product, burst from a sudden temperature change or from shrinkage of the building if the stained-glass window is inserted into a rigid structure that is under load. Stained-glass can be damaged by improper care. For example, the use of chemical reagents to remove contaminants can cause visual and textural defects in stained-glass, such as clouding of some elements, darkening or deposits on the seams, streaks or stains on the glass that cannot be removed and require their replacement in the future. Stained-glass paintings can be damaged or lost when treated with chemicals. When cleaning glass with hard sponges, scratches may occur.

We specialize in the restoration of stained glass mosaics, which use stained glass. Such works can be made from a glass module with a layout in the technique of Roman mosaic or in the technique of Florentine mosaic, with details of a free configuration joined into a single pattern.
