Exotic plants skillfully assembled into a floristic composition are placed in a glass vessel - a florarium, in which a semi-closed ecosystem is formed with the most favorable microclimate for plants. Florariums with properly selected plants retain the shape and brightness of compositions for up to several years, which is much longer than similar compositions with plants in ordinary pots. They do not require much attention and care, they do not need to be watered, replanted or changed the soil frequently.
